Synchronicity (2024)

July 26, 2024: Opening ceremony of the Paris 2024 Olympic Games. The event, under the artistic direction of Thomas Jolly, takes place along the banks of the Seine.

Maud Le Pladec is the director of dance, in collaboration with Daphné Burki, director of fashion and costumes, and Victor Le Masne, musical director, for the four ceremonies of the 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games. On the Île de la Cité at 8:00 pm and on screens worldwide, the piece “Synchronicity” comes to life, showcasing the expertise and excellence of French craftsmanship, choreographed by Maud Le Pladec. Created with the dancers of the CCN – Ballet de Lorraine, among the 250 performers brought together for this piece, “Synchronicity” is reborn!
