Seduction rather than confrontation is for me the key.
As a visual artist you present yourself, but you also hide yourself behind your work.
You seduce the viewer, want them to delve into what is shown, create their own image on the basis of your images.
But you yourself decide what you will reveal, where you draw the line between personal and private.
Yvette is a series of installations inspired by the first striptease show in Paris (1894) titled 'Le Coucher d'Yvette', by texts from Paul Pourveur and by exhibitionism in the media and in art.
