In The Lindenmeyer System choreographer André Gingras takes his audience into an extraordinary dance experience inspired by migration and cultural identity. The audience travels through a world of bizarre and overwhelming images inspired by a study of migration and its personal and social impact. In order to give the public an authentic experience, the audience is labelled, bound and made to move to different points of observation.

For this choreography Gingras has created a specific movement language based on the dynamics of the botanical world; a world which is also characterized by migration, adaptations and crossbreeding.
